Thursday Chapel: Lunch Church x Why Jesus

“Why Jesus” is a series of talks designed to help build community here at Luther and to model the practice of Christian testimony. Speakers (faculty, staff, and students) focus on two questions: “Why am I a Christian?” and “What difference does Jesus make in my life?” Lunch is provided.

A Pop-Up Zentangle Session
Join us for a mid-day time of quiet meditation and learn how to draw Zentangles with Dr. Thomason. It is easy, fun, and very relaxing. We know it is intensives, but some of you might have a little space from 1:00-1:40 p.m. We’ll gather in Bockman 116.
Stuff Exchange—Week 2
Hey Luther! Join us for the “Eco-Faith Stuff Exchange!” Back this week by popular demand!
Everyone is invited to participate in the Stuff Exchange!
When: January 17–20
Where: Upstairs OCC in the ‘triangle area,’ across from the Cafe. Simply bring gently used items to contribute if you have them and take home items that you would use. It will be our own thrift shop–exchanging to prevent unnecessary purchases and waste. Bags and boxes to carry items home will be provided.
Items may include: clothing, books, small appliances, picture frames, video games, instruments–whatever! Please make sure items are clean (please wash before bringing clothes) and usable. Please no swimwear or undergarments. Leftover items will be donated Friday night after the last Intensive class.
