Come celebrate Joe Mann’s new career opportunity today at 3:30 p.m. Central.
Joe will be leaving his position as web manager for Augsburg University and Luther Seminary at the end of the week to pursue a new role with Equisoft. During his more than eight-year employment at Augsburg, Joe has been exceptional at tackling complex problems, thinking strategically about what’s best in the current moment, and developing solutions that will be sustainable for the long term. Joe’s strength in troubleshooting, attention to detail, and clear communication will be tremendous assets for Equisoft. We thank him for his dedication to Augsburg and Luther and for the many ways he has supported students, faculty, and staff.
We will be hosting a Zoom gathering for the seminary community to pop by to say farewell on Wednesday, October 21, 3:30-4 p.m. Central.
In recognition for taking on increased responsibilities, for her excellent leadership in the MDivX pilot project, and for the fantastic asset she is to Luther Seminary, Jody Nyenhuis was promoted to associate director of the MDivX as of October 1, 2020. Please join the MDivX guiding team in congratulating Jody and thanking God for her gifts and service to Luther Seminary.
If the snow and cold has you dreading the winter months and wondering how you are going to be able to move your body and be in community, have no fear! Elizabeth Schoenknecht has agreed to lead a yoga class series via Zoom this fall at 10:15 a.m. Central Friday mornings.
Come join us to get your body moving indoors and be present with your fellow community members. You can come to any or all of the sessions, and all abilities and levels of experience are welcome.
There will be a four-week session beginning next week. An additional three-week session will begin after Thanksgiving break. Mark your calendars! The schedule is as follows:

Voting is open from noon Central Tuesday, October 20, 2020 until 5:00 p.m. Central Thursday, October 22, 2020. Use the Round 2 Student Council Elections form cast your vote! We’ll announce the results on Friday, October 23.
