Liturgy of the Hours, Episode Three
The Liturgy of the Hours podcast, offering prayer for wherever you may be, is presented by Luther Seminary Chapel and Augsburg University Campus Ministry.
The Liturgy of the Hours is the passed-through-the-generations practice of daily prayer offered through praise, prayer, song, psalm, and scripture. Now available by podcast, it features prayer from the great cloud of witnesses to your cloud.
This season we offer Matins: prayer for the morning time. This week we are led by Zach Busch and Musician-in-Residence Jearlyn Steele.
Listen and follow along on our Liturgy of the Hours site or wherever you get your podcasts.
Flu vaccination clinic: October 14
Save the date! Next Wednesday, October 14, Luther will be hosting a flu vaccination clinic, 11:00 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. in the OCC Atrium. Getting a flu vaccination is the single best way to protect yourself, your coworkers, your family, and our community from the flu (source: CDC). You can sign up for a five-minute slot on our flu vaccination clinic sign-up sheet.
Remember to complete your Title IX training
Students are reminded to complete their Title IX training by October 15 to avoid having a hold placed on their registration. Anyone enrolled should have received an invitation from our vendor, EverFi, with a link to this training, which is required annually and has been updated to reflect changes in federal law which took effect in August. Questions should be directed to the seminary’s Title IX coordinator, Peter Susag (psusag001@luthersem.edu).
