We are honored to welcome Archbishop Musa Panti Filibus—Archbishop of the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria and former President of the Lutheran World Federation—to our community on Wednesday, October 1. He will attend worship with us in the chapel at 11 a.m. and join the Dean of the Chapel in blessing and baptizing children. Immediately following worship, Archbishop Filibus with present a Conversation & Lunch in the OCC dining room on the topic of “The Future of the Church: Lessons from the Global South.” This is a unique opportunity to hear from one of the foremost voices in the global Lutheran communion. After chapel, grab your lunch and bring your questions for a rich and engaging discussion.

Do you love making a joyful noise and singing with your peers? All students, faculty, and staff are welcome to join the Seminary choir. We rehearse weekly in the chapel and sing about once a month during Wednesday worship. People of all singing and music-reading abilities are welcome!
