Community Event: Try Cross Country Skiing [In-Person]
Hi everyone, this is your last chance to sign up to try cross country skiing tonight at 4:30. Those who have signed up will meet in the lobby of the OCC, then carpool to Theodore Wirth Regional Park, where we will pick up classic skis, learn basic technique together, and ski around for about two hours before heading back to Luther. If you’re meeting us at the park, please meet us at “The Trailhead” (which is a building) at Theodore Wirth park. Note the weather will be fairly warm (mid 40s), and we will keep warming up the longer we ski, so I personally recommend dressing in layers that you can remove if you get too hot. If you’re planning to come, please fill out this online form so that we don’t leave Luther Seminary without you. Email smaier001@luthersem.edu if you have any questions. See you all this afternoon!

2026 EcoFaith Summit – April 18
Join us for a day-long regional gathering to talk about caring for our creation. This year’s theme is From Fear to Fire: Igniting Community for a Planet in Peril. Transportation will be available for up to twelve people—students, staff, faculty—who sign up here. If you would like to travel to Duluth on your own, let us know. If you travel with us the cost of transportation, registration, and a meal at the event will be covered by the Rural Ministry Fund. If you will be traveling on your own, we will still cover registration costs. You can also watch it on livestream. One van will leave early Saturday morning and return Saturday evening. We are considering having the other van heading up on Friday—let us know on the sign up form if you are interested in that option. Contact Jon Anderson (janderson008@luthersem.edu) for more information.
