Community Event: Try Cross Country Skiing [In-Person]
Hi everyone, this is your last chance to sign up to try cross country skiing tonight at 4:30. Those who have signed up will meet in the lobby of the OCC, then carpool to Theodore Wirth Regional Park, where we will pick up classic skis, learn basic technique together, and ski around for about two hours before heading back to Luther. If you’re meeting us at the park, please meet us at “The Trailhead” (which is a building) at Theodore Wirth park. Note the weather will be fairly warm (mid 40s), and we will keep warming up the longer we ski, so I personally recommend dressing in layers that you can remove if you get too hot. If you’re planning to come, please fill out this online form so that we don’t leave Luther Seminary without you. Email smaier001@luthersem.edu if you have any questions. See you all this afternoon!
Daily Readings and Meditations for Lent from Luther Library
For these remaining weeks of Lent—a period of preparation reflecting on Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection—the Luther Seminary Library has prepared a spiritual guide with readings, daily prayers, thoughtful articles, and of course, rich books on the theology of the cross and resurrection. Check it out here.
