We’d like to introduce Mary Speranza-Reeder as our next registrar and offer a warm welcome to her.
Mary comes to us with 21 years of experience in higher education. She has served as the assistant registrar for the last five years at Mitchell Hamline School of Law. Prior to this role, at Hamline University she worked for 11 years as the program administrator for the Advanced Degrees and Administrative Licensure Department. Mary has also served as the program coordinator for the Access and Success Program at the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul.
Mary has a Bachelor of Social Work (B.S.W.) from St. Catherine and has used that education early in her career as a case manager, housing specialist, and housing systems analyst for the Minnesota AIDS Project.
We are excited that Mary brings an extroverted cheerfulness borne of deep compassion for students, faculty, and staff. She understands higher education and has worked in a complex registrar environment in the law school. All of her experience will benefit us as she leads this important role at Luther.
Welcome, Mary!
