We come to our fifth and final value in the ABIDE framework this week. Dr. Cody Sanders will preach from Matthew 14:13–21 and connect it to our value of EQUITY that is expressed in the communal practice of JUSTICE.

If you live close to campus, I encourage you to come to campus, even if you don’t have class on Wednesday. It is so good to be together, to sing, to pray, to share the bread and wine. If you are not able to drive to campus, I encourage you to tune in to the YouTube Livestream. The service will be available on the YouTube channel afterwards to watch in your own time and space.

We will celebrate the finale of our ABIDE series with a free community meal immediately following chapel on Wednesday, October 22. This will provide an opportunity to debrief the series in round table conversations and ask each other the important question, “What part will I play in creating a climate of ABIDE at Luther Seminary?”
