Goodbye and Hello!
Happy Monday morning! Today we celebrate the last day of RFS 1. It was a great weekend. We kicked things off with a party on Friday night and have been enjoying a buzzing campus all weekend. Today we share communion together and say farewell to a third of our students.
Then, on Wednesday, we welcome another group of students and we ramp it up for another three days of intensives. Here’s what to expect in Chapel for RFS 2:
Wednesday. Service of Communion and the first chapel livestream of the academic year (watch it here). We kick off the ABIDE series (see below).
Thursday. Lunch Church. Rev. Dr. Willis Johnson, our visiting professor in leadership and innovation, will offer his “Why Jesus?” story.
Friday. Convocation. The faculty will appear in full academic regalia and Dr. Steinke will officially begin the 2025-26 academic year. Also, we will have spiritual directors on campus so that you can have a chance to ask questions about spiritual direction. Learn more about it here.
It is going to be a great week.
Abiding in ABIDE this Fall
