Congratulations to Dr. Anna Marsh

Posted on February 28, 2025

Please join me in congratulating Dr. Anna Marsh, Visiting Assistant Professor of Old Testament, who has accepted a position at High Point University in High Point, North Carolina, as Assistant Professor of Hebrew Bible and point person for the minor in Jewish Studies. Dr. Marsh’s contract with Luther Seminary ends with her teaching this summer and we are delighted that another community will be welcoming her in the fall. As an excellent teacher, emerging scholar, and caring colleague, Dr. Marsh has been an asset to the Luther Seminary community and will be deeply missed. Dr. Marsh says, “Luther Seminary was a formative place for me as a student, and this visiting position means it has now also been formative for me as a teacher and scholar. My relationships with Luther’s students, faculty, and staff will always be dear to me. As I move into the next chapter, I know my years here are ones for which I will always be grateful.” Our prayers surround Dr. Marsh and her family as they say goodbye to friends and family in Minnesota and begin this new adventure in North Carolina.
