Rural Cross Cultural Experience—Farm Fest in Morgan, Minnesota
On August 7 there will be a road trip to experience rural culture at FarmFest in Morgan, Minnesota. We will leave at 7 a.m. in a van. It is a couple of hours out, and we will arrive at the fest around 9:30. This will be an opportunity to learn about the economics, politics, and lifestyles of rural and small town people in this part of the midwest. The festival event is aimed at the larger and more future leaning farmers in the region by its organizers. Check out the Minnesota Farmfest Schedule of Events. The cost of the van is covered by rural ministry funds. The cost to enter and to eat during the day will be the participants responsibility. Here is more information about the trip, and here is a sign-up sheet.
