Flooring Project – Bockman Hall and Gullixson Hall Corridors
We would like to update you about the upcoming flooring project that will take place during the semester break. This ambitious improvement project involves replacing the corridor flooring of first and second floor Bockman Hall and the first-floor of Gullixson Hall. The Bockman Hall lower level carpet outside of Conference Room 27 will also be replaced.
Bockman Hall First Floor, including 116
- Start Date: Thursday (12/14)
- Complete: Over the weekend. Estimated 3-4 days
Gullixson Hall
- Start and Complete: Next week (TBD). Estimated 1-2 days
Bockman Hall Second Floor
- Start and Complete: The week between Christmas and New Year’s Day. Estimated 3-4 days
Bockman Hall Lower Level
- Start and Complete: (TBD). Estimated 4 hours
Please be aware that the project’s timeline is quite ambitious, considering the break between semesters, holidays, and other events. Our team is dedicated to completing the project efficiently to minimize disruptions to your activities. We will work together to move furniture and other items from the project areas, as well as return.
During the project, there might be some temporary inconveniences such as restricted access to certain areas and noise. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work towards enhancing the quality of our facilities. Thank you for your understanding as we strive to improve our spaces.

2024 Samuel DeWitt Conference Course
Join Dr. Leon Rodrigues and Dr. Samuel Zalanga in attending this conference for credit by registering for the Spring course LD2515-01-TR-PS, “Religious Leadership in the Black Prophetic Tradition.” Capacity limited to twelve students. The conference theme this year is “Where Legacy Meets Future: Reimagine! Rethink! Reinvent!” The conference dates are February 19–22, 2024, in Chicago, IL.
