In this devotion, Heather Hansen, ‘04 M.A., ‘15 M.Div., discusses how we are deeply rooted in faith. Read today’s God Pause.

We gather at 11 a.m. CT in the OCC Meditation Chapel and online (link in email) for contemplative practice of your choice—mindful sketching, centering prayer, or however you choose to engage silence. This week will be facilitated by Steve Thomason. We will read the text and then engage in contemplative practice in silence for 15 minutes. Afterward, you are welcome to sit in fellowship or go about your day. Our text this week is Joshua 1. Share your prayer requests.

Check out this week’s blog post from Dean of the Chapel Steve Thomason—Be Strong and Courageous.

You can share the names of loved ones who have died in the last year on this form so we can remember them as a community.
