Join us for a pancake breakfast this Wednesday, 8:30–10 a.m., where we’ll server pancakes, yogurt, and other breakfast items to help start your day. Gluten-free and vegan options will also be available.

We have prospective students visiting us for the weekend. You are invited to join us Saturday, October 10 at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of the Incarnation for a short church service.

How are you doing—not just as a student but as a whole person? Luther Whole Life is a weekly, one-hour Zoom gathering for seminary students to pause, connect, reflect, and encourage one another as we navigate the demands of seminary and preparation for ministry. Through guided conversation, gratitude, and prayer, we’ll explore practices that support spiritual, emotional, physical, relational, and vocational well-being. This month we are focusing on spiritual health, and this week we will focus on prayer that sustains. All students are welcome. No preparation is required. We meet Wednesdays 7:30-8:30 p.m. CT on Zoom (link in email).

Do you have a prayer or hymn that is meaningful to your faith? A prayerbook is being created by and for the Luther Seminary community, and we want your suggestions. Please email prayers or hymns to aaakre002@luthersem.edu with the subject line “prayer.” We’re not able to take original compositions—only existing texts. Please include whatever information you have about copyright to the text you’re submitting. Search through hymnals, wallets, and prayerbooks for those beloved words that aided you, so they might now aid others.

Fresh voices are important, and PREACH helps make sure they are part of the conversation. With generous support from one of our amazing sponsors—Luther Seminary—current Luther Seminary students can register for free. Join us in-person in the Twin Cities or online. Send us a message or email us at support@churchanew.org for registration information. Learn more and register.
