Archives for September 2026

The stacks will remain closed as we prepare for the upcoming move. It is still possible to check out books, either by placing a hold on the item on the library website or by speaking with library staff for assistance. The library itself will remain open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, starting September 1.

In this devotion, Carol Seilhymer ’16 M.Div., observes how we like grace when it comes to us and resist it when it makes another sinner equal to us. Read today’s God Pause.

Students, Fall RFS (September 19-25) is on campus at Luther Seminary. As you make final preparations for travel and learning, please review these reminders and resources: Fall 2026 RFS schedule | Fall 2026 Moodle site. Contact academicdean@luthersem.edu with any questions. Sign up for free, professional headshots on this spreadsheet (must be logged in to your luthersem email).

Due to a system error, the library is unable to process new passwords for patrons at this time. If you need to put a book on hold but do not have a password already set up, please email libcirc@luthersem.edu or come to the circulation desk.

In this devotion, Carol Seilhymer ’16 M.Div., notes that, while Paul writes these powerful words from prison, his concern is not for his own comfort or release but for the church. Read today’s God Pause.
