Luther Seminary is hosting Healthy Boundaries Workshops this summer and fall. All new students and any returning students who haven’t completed this non-degree requirement are encouraged to register. Both parts 1 and 2 must be completed to fulfill this requirement. Part 1 is a synchronous, one-hour Zoom; part 2 is online and asynchronous. The last Part 1 session this fall is on Thursday, October 1 at 10 a.m. CT. Pre-registration is required prior to each workshop. Register online here.

Please join me in thanking Bethany Riethmeier for her seven years of service to the seminary as our Donor Relations Manager. Bethany recently accepted a Campaign Manager role with Avivo, a Minnesota nonprofit focused in the housing, mental health services, recovery, and career development space, serving neighbors and communities across the greater metro area. We know that she will continue to use her project management, thoughtful event planning, and gracious customer service talents in new ways to support Avivo’s growing philanthropy program. Bethany’s last day with the seminary will be Friday, October 9—please wish her all the best! —Jill Kane

Grace Pomroy, Director of the Stewardship Leaders Program is a certified financial education instructor. She listens and provides support in a shame-free, judgement-free zone. Hundreds of students have talked with Grace and received valuable support. You determine the topics that will be covered based on your specific situation, then together with Grace, you’ll figure out what the next steps should be. Grace has time open on her calendar every week to meet with students via Zoom. Snag your time here.

Come and sing with us! All students, faculty, and staff are welcome to join the Luther Seminary Chapel Choir. We rehearse weekly 12:15-1:15 p.m. after Wednesday chapel and sing about once a month during Wednesday worship. People of all singing and music-reading abilities are welcome.
