TODAY: RIC Ice Cream Social [In-Person]
Luther Seminary’s Reconciling in Christ (RIC) advocacy committee will be hosting a free ice cream social on Sunday, September 20, after RFS classes let out at 6:30 p.m. Stop by the OCC patio (or dining room if it rains) for some sweet treats and a chance to learn more about the committee that helps work to ensure Luther is a welcoming and inclusive space for all students. Give Day Fundraiser at Padraigs Brewing
After a long day at RFS, one understands why Katharina von Bora Luther ran a brewery. Luther Seminary friends are invited to join Eric Nelson (M.Div. student) at Padraigs Brewing for a Give Day fundraiser! Come in this Saturday and Sunday, or Tuesday and Wednesday evening (9/19, 9/20, 9/22, 9/23), when every $10 Give Day donation is $3 off a pint of craft Irish beer. Apply for the Graduate Preaching Fellowship
Consider applying for Luther Seminary’s Graduate Preaching Fellowship, a unique and generous fellowship that allows you to study preaching and ministry in a variety of cultural contexts. Travel to and learn from rural, suburban, and urban communities in domestic and/or international contexts. Any student in any degree program at Luther Seminary can apply, and your fellowship can last anywhere from 1 to 12 months. Your experience as a graduate preaching fellow begins after your graduation from Luther Seminary. Applications are processed on a rolling basis, and decisions are made within 30 days.
