As we prepare to sell our Upper Campus, we’ve learned that two underground fuel storage tanks near Bockman Hall need to be removed. This is both good environmental practice and necessary for a successful sale. Here’s what to expect:
– Work begins late August. It will take up to 2 weeks to remove the tanks. Soil testing will follow and results are expected within 4 weeks.
– Bockman Hall’s accessible entrance will be closed during the tank removal.
– Parking in the Bockman lot will be limited.
– As of right now, we expect the sidewalk between Gullixson Hall and OCC to remain open during the project.
– We are mindful of the upcoming Fall RFS (September 19–25) and anticipate that the project will be completed by this time. If work is ongoing, we will seek to minimize any disruptions to events on campus.

Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Minneapolis invites faculty, staff, and students to participate in a 2.5 day training in Kingian Nonviolence led by nationally certified trainers. The training will take place in person in Minneapolis from the evening of September 18 to the afternoon of September 21. Students may be eligible for scholarship funding.
