It was a busy summer on campus! The Facilities team worked tirelessly to make several positive changes to our Residents Hall on Bockman 3rd floor. Please join me in thanking them for the wonderful execution of a vision crafted by Operations, and the efforts of everyone below.
Thank you to Terra Zosel, Tom Mullany, Ron Hosek, Steve Eighmey, Jake Ratkovitch, Steve Melin, Mike Nybo, and student workers for all of their efforts getting carpet installed in all rooms, fresh paint, removing old furniture, and adding a sink to the kitchenette!
Thank you to Jessi LeClear-Vachta and her team for their inspiration, ideas, and fancy guest accommodation.
Thank you to Paul Daniels for carefully selecting new artwork for the space!
Our gratitude to Chenar Howard and the Community Life Fellows for their hard work readying the rooms for our international arrivals.
Much appreciation goes to Pr. Jeni, the Admissions office, and Student Affairs team members for taking a vested interest in making this an equitable and welcoming living space.
If you are curious to see the updates, Housing will host a small reception on Tuesday, October 25th from 10–10:55 a.m. We hope to see you!
Leon Rodrigues, Dean of Students
