Congratulations to Juli Kramer
After many years of service to the Luther Seminary community, Juli Kramer will retire from her role as project and production manager on the shared services marketing team that serves both Luther and Augsburg University effective June 30, the end of the seminary’s fiscal year. I’m excited to share, however, that Juli will still be an active part of the Luther community. She has accepted a part-time role as the managing editor for Word & World beginning July 1.
Juli has been a wonderful and thoughtful colleague, and we will always be grateful for her dedication, commitment, and hard work. I hope you’ll join me in congratulating her on her exciting news! You can leave a note for her using this Google Form, and I will compile the responses for her on her last day.
Luther Library Celebrates “Justice Days” in June
Two important June holidays—not just Father’s Day—commemorate “Juneteenth” (June 19) and “World Refugee Day” (June 20). See our June Bibliography on “The Border and Immigration” for the article from Minneapolis-based IAFR, on “World Refugee Day: How can we help?”
Then read “Why Juneteenth Should Matter to the Church” on our “Social Justice Books” guide. There you can also participate in a Free Webinar on June 15.
