During Professor Steve Thomason’s livestream today, he will be talking about how we can connect with God through listening to the trees. He’ll show a gallery of drawings and paintings that he’s made of trees, then will create a tree mandala live on his iPad. Join him live to interact, ask questions, and make comments.

Tree Removal Near Gullixson and Bockman Halls
Rainbow Treecare will be onsite to remove a sick tree between Bockman and Gullixson Halls the week of July 15–19. The sidewalk will be closed off as needed during this work event to keep all safe and out of harm’s way. Please respect the closure and plan a different route accordingly.
ABIDE All-Community Summer Book Club
You are invited to join Luther’s fifth annual All-Community ABIDE Book Club! This year we will be reading and discussing “I Never Thought of It That Way: How to Have Fearless Conversations in Dangerously Divided Times” by Mónica Guzmán. The all-community read is a great way for all of us—new and current students, staff, faculty, and alums—to connect and learn as we continue our work to promote and embody our ABIDE values: accountability, belonging, inclusion, diversity, and equity. Book clubs will be offered at a variety of times in-person and on Zoom and will meet for six weeks beginning the week of July 21. Sign up online by July 16 to participate. Students can receive a free copy of the book—sign up to learn more. Contact Lauren Mildahl (lmildahl001) with any questions.
