Last Chance: Grant Opportunity for Students, Faculty, and Staff
The Stewardship Leaders Program, in collaboration with Thrivent Charitable, invites you to apply for an endowment lab grant. Grant applications must be received by this Sunday, August 3, and winners will be notified by the end of August. This grant program is designed to support Luther Seminary students, faculty, staff, and programs. All applications must align with Luther Seminary’s welcome, vision, and mission statements, and the project must benefit the Luther Seminary community. Total amount awarded will be up to $13,300 with a maximum single grant award of $4,000. Grant applications will be judged by the summer Money and Mission of the Church class as part of their education on endowments. Find out more and apply online. Lutheran Campus Ministry-Twin Cities Seminary Intern
New and current Luther Seminary students are invited to apply for an internship with Lutheran Campus Ministry Twin Cities. The LCM Outreach intern works with current University of Minnesota student leaders to reach out and build relationships with students in Saint Paul, cultivates and leads a meaningful small group on the Saint Paul Campus, and learns from and contributes to the broader LCM-TC community. There are opportunities for further learning, growth, development, and travel depending on the desires and capacity of the person. The position is 10 hours a week and is paid. A 2-year commitment (Aug 15-May 15) is encouraged, and preference will be given to those who can make that commitment. The intern must be available on Wednesday nights during the academic year. Deadline to apply is July 31, and applicants will be interviewed on a rolling basis. Start date is flexible, ideally around August 15.
