Join the community of Westwood Lutheran in Saint Louis Park for two events with Meredith Miller, author of ‘Woven: Nurturing a Faith Your Kid Doesn’t Have to Heal From’ and ‘Wonder: 52 Conversations to Help Kids Fall in Love with Scripture.’ Meredith’s conversational approach to faith formation emphasizes the importance of kids getting to know who God is rather than obeying a God they do not yet have a relationship with. Events are free of charge and open to the public—please register using these links:
Parents and Caregivers Event, Sunday, March 8, 2:30–5 p.m.
Practitioners Event, Monday, March 9, 9 a.m.–12:30 p.m

God Pause for February 12: Matthew 17

Posted on February 12, 2026

“Brake” Bread Together Monthly Gathering – February [In-Person]

Posted on February 12, 2026

Students, faculty, and staff—On Thursday, February 12, 9 a.m. in Bockman Hall 116, start your morning with our fifth “Brake Bread” event, where we gather around bread, jam, and coffee while building deeper community connections and celebrating a particular campus space—this time in Bockman Hall. We have LOTS of treats—some might even call it Fat Thursday, a proper kickoff to the Carnival weekend! Supported by an Endowment Lab Grant from Thrivent, these “Brake Bread” gatherings are intentional moments to build relationships, listen to one another, laugh together, and celebrate the good work and learning being done among us. Please join us in this holy space to love one another more deeply in a time of uncertainty. If you have questions, email Emily Rova-Hegener in Contextual Learning, erovahegener001@luthersem.edu.
