Lutheran Quarterly is offering, free of charge, a one-year print or digital subscription to students who provide their shipping information and an email address to managing editor Nicholas Hopman at nicholas.hopman@alum.ptsem.edu. There is no limit on the number of new subscriptions from any one school. Submit requests by November 30. Upcoming issues will continue providing articles and reviews on topics in Lutheran history and theology, Each issue in 2027 will also include a brief essay about the career and legacy of Gerhard Forde during the centennial year of his birth in 1927. Thanks to a generous grant from the 1521 Foundation, we are offering free subscriptions to students for this one year in recognition of Forde’s “radical Lutheranism” within our publishing history. Keep in mind, too, the annual prize of $5,000 for the best essay published in LQ by a student or recent graduate. The three recipients to date are featured on our website along with the invitation for this coming year.
