Another remote internship scam is making its rounds this morning. It purports to be from Mary Hess and Dwight Zscheile. It was clearly made with AI, so note that these scams keep getting better.
Some red flags I noticed were:
- Mentions a nonexistent initiative (Digital Commons & Public Faith)
- Seems a bit too good to be true
- We’ve had internship scams sent to us before
- It’s from Mary and Dwight but sent from another person’s email account
