Join us tonight from 4:30–6:30 p.m. in the OCC Dining Room for a special evening of Brake Bread: Community and Connection. We are delighted to host Luther alum and board member Tracey Gibson in conversation with Emily Rova-Hegener, along with all of you. This will be a lively, thoughtful, and welcoming space where everyone present is part of the conversation. We’ll be enjoying a delicious Catalonian-inspired meal: Arroz con pollo, stuffed zucchini (v + gf), gazpacho salad (v + gf), tomato bread. The dinner is provided by Community Life. Beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks are available. Desserts and the “Brake Bread” portion are generously supported by a Thrivent Grant. These Brake Bread gatherings are intentional moments to slow down, listen deeply, laugh freely, and celebrate the meaningful work and learning happening among us. In a time of uncertainty, this is a holy space to strengthen relationships and love one another more deeply. Pull up a chair. Bring your curiosity. Come hungry for good food and good conversation.
