In this devotion, Pastor Peter K. Muschinske ’92 M.Div. reminds us that God’s grace and God’s good work in our lives sustains us every day. Read today’s God Pause.

The world around us seems to be getting heavier by the minute, and it’s often hard to know what’s ours to do when the needs of our neighbors all seem urgent and endless. When the world seems to be more than we can handle, God reminds us in Exodus 14:14: “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” If you’re in need of a space to take a breath, slow down, and listen for the still small voice of God, please join us for the next installment of Be Still. We will engage in practice and discussion as we reflect on what it means to rest in God’s unforced rhythms of grace. We meet via Zoom (link in email) on Thursday, February 5 at 6:15 p.m. CT. United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cites is hosting an exhibit by Dale Dobias, our director of Library Services, titled “Re: assembled—An Offering.” The exhibit is available for viewing in the center of United’s campus (767 Eustis St., Suite 140, Saint Paul) from January 12 through February 13, with a closing reception from 4-6 p.m. at UTS on Friday, February 13. All are welcome! If you plan to attend the closing reception, you are encouraged to register online.
