Students, staff, and faculty are invited to a Lunch & Learn with the Student Housing Working Group on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 12:00-1:00 pm in OCC 10 and on Zoom (link in email). Bring your own lunch. The working group will present its preliminary findings and proposals and solicit feedback from the Luther community on this important issue as we imagine a residential student community in our future space.

The Office of International Student and Scholar Affairs (ISSA) and the International Student Association invite you to join us as we celebrate the annual Global Agape Feast—an international thanksgiving with food and fellowship—on Wednesday, November 19 from 4-6 p.m. in the OCC dining room. We will also celebrate Dean Leon Rodrigues as he prepares to retire. We invite everyone to bring a dish to share and wear clothing from your tradition.

Chef Sam and Emily are having their annual Thanksgiving pie and sides preorder pickup here at Luther (outside in the lot) on Wednesday 11/26. This is your chance to share the culinary artistry of Sam and Emily with your families on Thanksgiving. Place an order through the Fruit and Grain bakery website.

The Mayo Clinic is an ACPE-accredited program for CPE that offers current opportunities. The application cycle opened on September 2. Applications are reviewed and accepted on a rolling basis. Based on feedback from across the seminary community, we have updated the community announcements submission form. The updated form can still be accessed using the “Submit an Announcement” button in the right navigation on Inside Luther. The new version allows you to designate your announcement as an in-person, hybrid, or online event and have it automatically added to the Luther Seminary Community shared Google calendar.

Any announcements you’ve already submitted using the old form will be transferred and posted as planned (including being added to the LS Community Calendar, as appropriate). If you have the old form bookmarked or have the link stored elsewhere, please update your links. We will check responses to both forms this week (November 3–7) and then will not check the old form going forward. Contact communic@luthersem.edu with questions.
