Farmfest 2025 – Rural Economic and Cultural Experience
Students, faculty, and staff are invited to join us Wednesday, August 6 for an opportunity to experience the agricultural rural gathering Farmfest in Morgan, in southwestern Minnesota. We will leave at 7 a.m. in a van whose cost is covered by rural ministry grants. Tickets for participants from the seminary will also be covered. Morgan is a few hours from campus. We will arrive at the fest around 9:30 a.m. This is an opportunity to learn about the economics, politics, and lifestyles of rural and small-town people in this part of the midwest. There is room for five people in the van. People in the surrounding areas might want to join us as well and meet up at the festival. Learn more on the Farmfest website. Reach out to Jon Anderson, janderson008@luthersem.edu, with any questions.
