Join the RIC Advocacy Committee’s very first RIC Sunday “Church Crawl.” On Sunday, January 26, we are celebrating with the greater Reconciling in Christ community by attending three RIC churches in the Twin Cities in one morning. We are so grateful to these congregations for welcoming us! We’ll first attend the 8:00 a.m. liturgy at Mount Olive Lutheran Church before heading over to the 9:30 a.m. worship service at Saint Anthony Park Lutheran, then we’ll join the 11:15 a.m. bilingual worship service at Saint Paul’s San Pablo Lutheran. We’ll finish off with lunch and discussion at Silver Fern in Northeast. If you want to carpool, meet at 7:30 a.m. in the OCC parking lot. We’ll be back at campus around 2:30 p.m. The crawl is free, but you will be responsible for buying your own lunch. Sign up online by Friday, January 24. Contact Lauren Mildahl (lmildahl001) with questions.

Following Up on the MarComm Pocket Survey
Thanks so much for the participation and thoughtful comments on the recent pocket survey about marketing and communications. Key themes we’ll be following up on include:
- Clarity of audience for different communications (i.e., is this for me?)
- Striking the right balance between frequency and redundancy in community announcements
- Highlighting more student stories and perspectives, particularly in Inside Luther News
- Making it easier to navigate and find key information on our websites
- Communicating consistently about worship opportunities
In response to this feedback, we’ll be experimenting with some tweaks to format and content in communications this spring—stay tuned! And if you have any further ideas or questions, feel free to reach out to communic@luthersem.edu.
