Update on Chapel Worship and Music Leadership
From Megan Crosby: “After careful deliberation, I have decided not to return to Luther Seminary as the Chapel Musician next fall. I have greatly enjoyed my time working with the students and Pastor Jeni as we planned and led worship. As a musician, I am accustomed to juggling more than one job. Having three jobs, however, was a bit much. All three of my jobs were technically forty hours on paper, but it took a significant amount of my mental capacity and organizational abilities to make it happen. There wasn’t much brain power left to care for myself and my family and the normal stresses of life. In short, I was doing too much and now I’m balancing my life again.”
We give thanks to God for Megan’s faithful work and ministry and her inspiring musicianship that she shared with us in recent years.
Today: Aus Lecture with Tripp Fuller and Andrew Root
Tripp Fuller and Andy Root will deliver the 2024 Aus Memorial Lecture on the remarkable life and enduring relevance of Dietrich Bonhoeffer. Before his imprisonment and martyrdom for working with the German resistance, Bonhoeffer lived and shared the gospel in an increasingly dangerous world. Come discover how Bonhoeffer’s ideas of who is “Other” impacted how he lived—and died—as a witness for his faith. Join us for this interactive, “salon”-style event in person on the seminary campus or online from anywhere through Faith+Lead.
