LSICC Study Hour and Cultural Time
The Luther Seminary International Cultural Club cordially invites you to join our December Study Hour and Cultural Time.
This event is scheduled for Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at 5:00 pm, and will take place in Bockman 1st Floor, Room 116.
Our Asian community will be delivering a presentation on famous Asian traditional festivals.
This opportunity is invaluable for anyone who appreciates and celebrates cultural diversity, like yourself, as it provides an excellent chance to gain insights into Asian traditions and their celebrated festivals.
During the same study hour, Professor Samuel Zalanga will lead a discussion on the “Macro-Sociological Perspective in the Study of Religion: Weber.” This session promises to be intellectually stimulating and thought-provoking.
Pakistani and Indian Chai (tea) will be served.

End of Term Reminder About Incompletes
Students must request incompletes from faculty by the last day of the semester, Friday, December 8, 2023. Students should let their professor know directly if they are requesting an incomplete grade.
Christmas Chili Cookoff
Don your best Christmas sweaters and break out those recipe books! Bring your crockpot as we determine whose chili recipe is the tastiest! Do-It-Yourself Nativity and Lunch Sign-Up
We invite you to sign up for the upcoming “Do-It-Yourself Nativity” Below you will find the link to sign up so we know how many folks to plan for. It also has a place for you to name what Christmas treats, cookies or bars you could bring.
Who: Everyone is invited – students, staff and faculty. Everyone is also invite to bring a dozen of your favorite Christmas cookies, bars or treats (if possible) to go along with some hot apple cider or hot cocoa.
What: Do-It Yourself Nativity and Lunch – We invite you to join us for some light- hearted fun while participating and/or watching your fellow colleagues and students as they recreate a
Do-It-Yourself Nativity scene held by the Library Staff from 10–11 a.m.
When – December 13 from 10–11 a.m. Following this fun event please join us for a delicious Christmas inspired lunch prepared by Sam Who and provided by the Faculty and Staff Employee Engagement Group.
