Luther Seminary’s fifth annual Give Day is coming up next week on September 23, 2020. We hope you are able to join in the virtual celebration. Newly added this year are Give Day Zoom backgrounds. All Luther Seminary faculty, staff, and students now have access to these backgrounds in your Zoom account. Be sure you have the latest Zoom client to be to be able to see all of the LS organizational backgrounds. The Seminary Relations team thanks you in advance for helping to spread the word! For more information and to make a gift, go to giveday.luthersem.edu.
Here is a reminder of how far your gift can go on Give Day this year:
Faculty and Staff
•The Faculty/Staff Challenge: 70 gifts (75% participation) from Luther Seminary faculty and staff combined will unlock a $15,000 Board Match.
The first staff department to reach 100% participation will all receive work-from-home care packages personally delivered by a member of the Seminary Relations team.
When current faculty reach 100% participation, they will all receive work-from-home care packages personally delivered by a member of the Seminary Relations team.
•The Current Student Challenge: When 50 current students make a gift of any amount, a $5,000 grant will be awarded to the Luther Seminary Student Council, who will determine how the grant will be used.
• The 2 Corinthians 9:7 Challenge: Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. As soon as 400 generous donors like you make a gift of any amount, a $25,000 Board Match is unlocked!
• The 50 States Challenge: After a gift is received from donors in each of the 50 states, a $10,000 Board Match will be unlocked!
