OCC Repairs Weekly Update: September 2-6
Repairs to the area around the west entrance of Olson Campus Center continued this week. Our partners at G5 Construction have now replaced and rebuilt much of the masonry along the outer wall of the chapel and in the tunnel, leaving space around steel support and cross beams for on-going remediation. Delivery of much of the replacement/remediation steel is delayed by a few days, but work to secure steel structures should commence soon.
This week includes work that is at times noisy and will produce some dust. We appreciate your patience and flexibility in utilizing (or not) the areas of OCC not directly related to the construction work.
For reminders about safety, project impacts, and communication, see my introductory message about the project.
As always, thank you for your support of our operations team and their work,
Rob VerkeDirector of Operations

How well do you know Johann Sebastian Bach?
J.S. Bach’s spiritual warmth and devotion were part of his musical genius. He was also a theologically-informed and dedicated churchman in the Lutheran tradition. Here’s a brief bibliography from the Luther Seminary Library.
