Independence Day Message from ISA
Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff of Luther Seminary,
On behalf of the International Students Association, we would like to extend our warmest wishes to the American community as you continue commemorations of Independence Day. July 4th marks the adoption of the Declaration of Independence in 1776, symbolizing the nation’s commitment to freedom, democracy, and self-governance. As international students, we appreciate the values and principles this day represents. We are grateful for the opportunity to study and live in the United States, where we can experience and learn from the country’s rich history and diverse culture. We join Luther Seminary in celebrating the spirit of independence and patriotism that defines this special day. We hope the fireworks, parades, and family gatherings served as a reminder of the importance of unity, freedom, and the pursuit of happiness. Thank you for allowing us to be part of this vibrant community. We wish everyone a joyous and reflective Independence Day weekend.
