Are you curious about Luther Seminary internships? Repairs to the area around the west entrance of Olson Campus Center continued last week and this week. Our partners at G5 Construction have replaced or reinforced many of the main steel support beams in the outer walls and restructured some of the window frames along the outer wall of the chapel and in the tunnel. Now that structural support has been improved, the upper ramp surface and interior ramp membrane has been completely removed and some concrete replacement work has begun. They are taking levels on the upper ramp to mitigate swales where water and ice can pool. A newly discovered problem in the drainage pipe running southwest away from the building has been remediated.
