International Day of Non-Violence is observed on October 2, the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi. In today’s war-weary world, the Luther Seminary Library recognizes this international day of non-violence. Here are useful resources on Peace, Nonviolence, and Reconciliation.

When calling 911, it is important to provide a serviceable building address. Many of us have 2481 Como Ave committed to memory, but this is not an address to use for an emergency call in any circumstance. If the emergency is in or near the following buildings, provide these addresses to the dispatcher:

• Bockman Hall — 2375 Como Avenue, St. Paul
• Gullixson Hall — 2375 Como Avenue, St. Paul

Then, go/stay outside to meet the ambulance wherever it parks and help guide the response team into the correct building and to the elevator as needed.
