For an easy way to stay informed about upcoming events, check out the Luther Seminary Community calendar. Starting today, the calendar will share information about seminary events that are open to the entire Luther community, to all students, or to all faculty and/or staff. Examples include chapel, community meals, social events, and important dates like upcoming Residential Focus Sessions. (If you’re experiencing déjà vu, yes, this calendar existed before and is making a comeback!)

You can add the calendar to your regular Google calendar view and submit events via the community announcements submission process. Please note that this calendar is for informational purposes only and does not reserve a room for you—if you need to reserve a space, you must use Coursedog. The Mayo Clinic is an ACPE-accredited program for CPE that offers current opportunities. The application cycle opened on September 2. Applications are reviewed and accepted on a rolling basis. Based on feedback from across the seminary community, we have updated the community announcements submission form. The updated form can still be accessed using the “Submit an Announcement” button in the right navigation on Inside Luther. The new version allows you to designate your announcement as an in-person, hybrid, or online event and have it automatically added to the Luther Seminary Community shared Google calendar.

Any announcements you’ve already submitted using the old form will be transferred and posted as planned (including being added to the LS Community Calendar, as appropriate). If you have the old form bookmarked or have the link stored elsewhere, please update your links. We will check responses to both forms this week (November 3–7) and then will not check the old form going forward. Contact communic@luthersem.edu with questions.
