Wednesday Chapel: Service of Holy Communion [Hybrid]
We gather at 11:00 a.m. CT in the Chapel of the Incarnation and online* for worship. Join us for a Service of Holy Communion celebrating Christ the King with preacher Alan Padgett, professor of Systematic Theology, presider Dean of the Chapel Steve Thomason, and musicians Erin DeBoer-Moran (Director of Music), the Luther Seminary Choir, and Sophie Warnberg, Anna Belz-Brock, and Carolina Bowen (M.Div. students). *For those joining via livestream: Worship will be guided by a powerpoint embedded in the youtube video. Circle Practice: Engaging with Aging Parents – December 2 [In-Person]
It can be challenging to engage with aging parents. Join us on December 2 at 9:00 a.m. in the OCC Meditation Chapel for a circle discussion as we share with each other the gifts and challenges of doing so. Led by Mary Hess, this will be a time simply to listen to each other’s experiences. We will use a talking piece, and only one person will speak at a time.
