Looking for an impactful stewardship program that is theologically grounded and easy to implement? Grace Pomroy, director of the Stewardship Leaders Program at Luther Seminary, has partnered with Church Anew to create Stewardship to Go, and all Luther students get free access. Use the code STEWARDSHIPGIFT to get free access to this year’s resource and the past two years’ resources. If you are in a context that uses the lectionary, that means you’ll have a stewardship resource for every year! Whether you use them this year or not, these are great resources to download for future use: You Have Heard it Said (vol 1), The Impossible Promise of Enough (vol 2), and What We Can Do (vol 3). Brief headshot sessions with a professional photographer are available free of charge to students, faculty, and staff on Friday, September 12, Monday, September 15, and Tuesday, September 16. Sign up for a time slot on this Google sheet (you must be logged into your luthersem.edu email account to access).

Would you like to be a part of sharing the Smithsonian’s Exploring Human Origins exhibit with others? We are seeking volunteers to be trained as exhibit docents. This is an unpaid volunteer position and you sign up for as many or as few shifts as you prefer. Volunteer docents will receive training from staff prior to their first shift. Most shifts will be structured in 3- or 4- hour blocks. Learn more and indicate your interest in serving as a volunteer docent by completing this online Volunteer Interest Form.
