Our Native American heritage is celebrated especially throughout the latter half of October and the month of November. (In some places it replaces the October 12 celebration of Columbus Day with Indigenous Peoples Day.) Students, with winter registration approaching we wanted to provide some tips for planning your classes. Did you know that Syllabus Day is the official first day of class? Professors and students can meet and walk through the course. Students may ask questions and professors may require assignments. Our Syllabus Day schedule is posted on MyLutherNet on the Registration tab under Registration Information each term when registration opens (scroll down to the end). We also provide the link in the daily announcements in the weeks leading up to Syllabus Day.

Login to MyLutherNet and click on Academics and then Academic Calendar on the left hand side. You are presented with the traditional calendar view.

This is a google calendar that you can subscribe to by clicking the plus sign in the lower right corner. If you select Academic Calendar 2024-2025.pdf another view will appear that highlights key dates.

Finally, the alternate view includes less information and more white space but might be to your liking.

Make sure to select the Term: 2024-2025 Winter Term and click on Search to view the courses offered.

Select the course you are interested in and then click on Syllabus on the left hand side of the screen.
