Beginning this month (October), the new deadline for submitting additional pay is the 13th of each month. The 13th of each month is also the new monthly deadline for all employee time approvals by managers. If the 13th falls on a weekend, the deadline is the following Monday. Anything submitted after this deadline will be paid the following month. This change is to help with ongoing complexities in our systems and to ensure our processes are as efficient and equitable as possible. There will be a service of Prayer and Communion held in the Chapel of the Incarnation tomorrow—Saturday, October 12—at 9:30 a.m. central. Please join prospective students and admissions staff for this meaningful worship experience.

Repairs to the area around the west entrance of Olson Campus Center continued this week. Our partners at G5 Construction have completed repair of structural steel, painted the steel, and covered it, where appropriate. Structural concrete work has also been completed. Final work on surface masonry and restoration of the poured concrete ramp will happen soon. A tar membrane will be installed before the ramp concrete is poured. The project is about two weeks behind official expectations but is still expected to be completed by Halloween.
