New Student Peers Signup
We’re kicking off the third summer of doing New Student Peers. The NSP program pairs you with 2-4 incoming students as a person they can go to with questions. You’re also a familiar face they will see when they’re on campus or in class. As a New Student Peer, you are responsible for:
- Attending a 1-hour training at the end of July (time TBD)
- Reaching out to new students 2-4 times during August
- A monthly check-in during fall semester to answer questions or point the students to someone who would have answers
- Potentially taking students out for a coffee or a meal during RFS or early fall semester (reimbursed by Admissions)
This is a volunteer position! If you are a graduated senior or on leave for the school year, please do not fill out this form. Interns are welcome to be a New Student Peer. If you are interested in being a New Student Peer, please fill out this form by July 19. Questions? Contact New Student Engagement (newstudents@luthersem.edu) or Natalie Wussler (nwussler001@luthersem.edu)
