Join us at 7 p.m. on January 9, 2024, for an evening with renowned New Testament scholar Amy-Jill Levine. Professor Levine will deliver Luther Seminary’s 2024 Fretheim Lecture in Biblical Theology “The Parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector: Why Knowledge of Jewish History Matters for Christian Preaching and Teaching.” She will also offer a workshop for area clergy and seminary students before the lecture. Both events will be held in Olson Campus Center and are free and open to the public. The lecture will be livestreamed at youtube.com/lutherseminary.

Our speaker this time is Professor Rick Lindroth, an enviromental scientist from the University of Wisconsin. This series of lectures showcases major voices in science and theology on current issues in environmental justice and ecotheology. Hope to see you there!

If you plan to begin your internship sometime between February and September of 2024 and have not yet taken the Internship Orientation course FE0200, our next session will be January 25, 2024. In order to be adequately prepared for internship coursework at Luther Seminary, all students are required to participate in FE0200 within one year of starting an internship.
