Now that we have a destination, the planning can begin in detail. In OT this month we have started every-other week meetings (I never know if I should say bi-weekly or bi-monthly) to start our planning.  Our areas of focus are<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Help Desk<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Classroom Technology<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Network Infrastructure (wired and wireless)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Server Room<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We had our first needs assessment meeting with Nimble. I am excited for the opportunities the new space provides for us to deliver timely service to classrooms, students, and faculty and staff.  The proximity of everyone to each other across departments just opens up the collaboration, communication and overall connection opportunities (that&#8217;s a lot of C&#8217;s in one sentence).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am also excited for the opportunity for us to look at what services we are running on site vs in the cloud. Much of our most critical infrastructure is in the cloud \u2013 Google Suite, Zoom phone, our websites and Jenzabar. But we have a few services on campus that we can look at more critically \u2013 Laserfiche, LAN drives, printing, Windows logins (ADFS).
