Jesus receives word that his friend, Lazarus, is ill. Strangely, Jesus delays and Lazarus dies. Four days later Jesus arrives in Bethany and has conversations with the sisters of Lazarus, Martha and Mary. Jesus proclaims that he is the resurrection and the life. He also grieves the death of Lazarus and weeps. Finally, Jesus rasises Lazarus from the dead.
