We come to our fourth value in the\u00a0ABIDE framework<\/a>\u00a0this week. Dr. Kristofer Phan-Coffman will lead us through a celebration of DIVERSITY<\/strong> that is demonstrated in our hymnal. Through this creative tour of hymnology we will explore how diversity is expressed in our VOCATION<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you live close to campus, I encourage you to come to campus, even if you don\u2019t have class on Wednesday. It is so good to be together, to sing, to pray, to share the bread and wine\u2026.AND\u2026to share some treats at the Chapel Cafe afterward. If you are not able to drive to campus, I encourage you to tune in to the YouTube Livestream<\/a>. The service will be available on the YouTube channel afterwards to watch in your own time and space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mark Your Calendars!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We will celebrate the finale of our ABIDE series with a free community meal<\/strong> immediately following chapel on Wednesday, October 22<\/strong>. This will provide an opportunity to debrief the series in round table conversations and ask each other the important question, “What part will I play in creating a climate of ABIDE at Luther Seminary?”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Join in the OCC Meditation Chapel or on Zoom for a time of silent contemplation in community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thursday Lunch Church<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
