This Thursday please join the Eco-Faith Team on campus for a community garden harvest day! We’ll meet TODAY Thursday, October 20, at 4:30 p.m. Meet at the garden (white picket fence north of Gullixson Hall, on the hill). We’ll distribute foodstuffs amongst harvesters and bring potatoes to Bockman for the student food shelf.
The first regular Eco-Faith Team meeting of the school year will be an evening meeting next Monday, October 24, at 8:15 p.m. We’ll get right to it and meet for just 45 minutes.
All our regular meetings will be HYBRID so DL and residential students alike can and are encouraged to participate in the community! Residential meeting space: 1467 Branston Street (campus house). Zoom link will be provided in the community announcements email.
On the agenda are composting and waste-reduction on campus, discussion of the ELCA’s draft climate change social statement, and other brainstorming for the year.
See you there!
