Online registration for J-Term will open by current student class starting Thursday, October 18th, at 7:45am CST. Please consult MyLutherNet – Key Registration Dates for full details (login required). All holds including Outstanding Balance and Title IX holds will need to be cleared in order to have online registration access.
Students wishing to discuss their J-term schedule may do so with the Registrar at registrar@luthersem.edu or with Academic Advising at advising@luthersem.edu

A reminder that this fall, the IT department would like to offer faculty and staff training sessions on software like Zoom, Moodle, Jenzabar, and Google Suite. Fill out this 2 minute survey to help IT pick times and topics that will be most useful for you!
The survey will close on 10/17. After the responses are collected, training sessions will be scheduled and calendar invites will be sent out!

There are two special worship opportunities within the next week at Luther Seminary!
Friday, October 12th at 11 am: A liturgy of Word and Song with Rev. Dr. Sean Forde preaching. Come to chapel on Friday and hear Luther Seminary Board Member Rev. Dr. Sean Forde preach. It will be a time to connect as a community and welcome the Board Members to campus for their fall meetings.
Monday, October 15 at 11 am: Songs of the Civil Rights Era with Wanda Battle. The Luther Seminary community will be led in worship this day by Wanda Battle. Wanda is a gospel singer as well as the docent at Dexter Avenue King Memorial Baptist Church in Montgomery, Alabama – Martin Luther King, Jr.’s parish from 1954-1960. Wanda will lead us in freedom songs from the civil rights era.
++ Please note there is no “Cup of Blessing” evening worship on this day. Join us instead for the special service of racial justice and peace.

Thank you to everyone who donated on our Thursday, September 27th blood drive! Student Affairs has been informed by the Red Cross that 20 units of blood were collected (8 more units than anticipated!) and 2 first time donors were registered. These donations are especially timely as blood supplies are low after Hurricane Florence increased the need for blood donations. Way to go!
