Announcements

We have several comings and goings in IT this summer.

We are sad to announce that Laura Ledray will be leaving us Thursday, June 6 to work in San Diego. Over the past year and a half, Laura has been extremely productive in meeting support needs and seeking better ways to support our faculty, staff, and students! It’s truly been great to have her on our team.

We are happy to announce that Jacob Fredrikson is joining the shared IT team on June 10. He’ll be providing support at Augsburg and at Luther Seminary, with a focus on the MDivX program. Jacob has been a temporary employee with Augsburg this past year.

We will have a light IT student worker presence this summer. One of our IT Helpdesk students graduated and two are on internship this summer. We have one new student worker who started June 3, but are still seeking additional student workers!

Please be aware that with these staff changes and light student coverage, it may take us a little longer to respond to helpdesk tickets and phone calls.

For those who have taken the Intercultural Development Inventory, the Intercultural Development Work Group is a chance to continue your experience as we learn together what it means to navigate cultural differences.

The work group meets online on the first Wednesday of the month. The first meeting is Wednesday June 5 at noon.

Congratulations to our colleagues celebrating work anniversaries in June! When you see them around campus, be sure to give them huge thanks and a high five!

Coffee and a small selection of nibbles will be served Tuesdays, June 4, 11 and 18 from 8 – 8:30 AM in the classroom for DMin students and anyone else in the OCC.

During the three June Intensive weeks we are worshiping FIVE DAYS A WEEK at 11am in the Chapel of the Incarnation, Olson Campus Center.

During the last week in June, there will only be a Holy Communion Service on Wednesday, the 26th.
